Fay Claassenは1995年頃から本名Fee ClaassenとしてCarolyn BreuerやThe Amsterdam Jazz Quintetのアルバムに参加し、2000年に初リーダー・アルバム'With A Song In My Heart'をリリースしました。以後2年〜4年ごとにアルバムをリリースしてきましたが、CD発売ごとにライブを開催してきたようで、2002年から2020年までのたくさんの音源をまとめ、2022年Challenge Recordsから8CD+2LPの豪華BOXをリリースしました。Ivan Paduart名義でCD発売されていたCD6(Recorded Live at The Music Village, Brussels, 2003)を除き、すべて未発表音源という、初リーダー・アルバムやそれ以前のFee Claassenと名乗っていた時代から追いかけてきた筆者のようなFay Claassenファンには大変うれしい豪華アルバムで、さらにブックレットには各ライブの詳しい情報や写真、Fay Claassenの年表などが掲載されました。LP2枚には、CDに収められていない5曲が追加されました。初リーダー・アルバムが2000年発売なので、活動20年の集大成として企画されたものと思われます。
